What is endometrial ablation?

How is endometrial ablation performed?

Before recommending treatment, your provider may perform testing such as:

• A pelvic examination
• Ultrasound imaging
• Endometrial biopsy
• Hysteroscopy

What should I expect after endometrial ablation?

Most patients return to normal activities within a few days.
