Mammograms can detect breast changes before a lump or other symptom develops. Early detection can provide more treatment options and improve outcomes when breast cancer is present.
The experienced OB-GYNs at Bayard Street Obstetrics & Gynecology provide breast cancer risk assessments and refer patients for mammography at convenient locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. Call the office nearest you or request an appointment online to discuss your screening needs.
A mammogram is a low-dose X-ray that creates detailed images of the breast. It is the primary imaging test used to screen for breast cancer.

Your Bayard provider will help determine the screening schedule that is appropriate for you.
