His approach to care is both modern and intentional—blending surgical precision with a holistic philosophy that honors the connection between physical health, confidence, and overall well-being.
Dr. Nyein graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University with a degree in Biochemistry, and earned his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan University Hospital, serving as Chief Resident.
At Bayard, Dr. Nyein provides comprehensive care across every stage of women’s health, with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. He is particularly recognized for his calm, reassuring presence and his ability to guide patients through complex decisions with clarity, discretion, and ease.
His clinical interests include advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery for pelvic pain conditions such as endometriosis and adenomyosis, as well as in-office procedures including hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation. He also has a distinct focus on cosmetic and functional gynecology—including labiaplasty—approaching each procedure with an emphasis on both refined aesthetic outcomes and functional restoration.
Dr. Nyein’s broader interests in hormone optimization, sexual wellness, and pelvic floor health reflect his commitment to a more comprehensive, individualized model of care—one that extends beyond traditional medicine to support how patients feel, function, and live.
He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is currently pursuing certification through the North American Menopause Society.
